Guelph Police Traffic Officers Arrest Three for Alcohol Related Driving Offences in a 24-hour Span.

On Saturday September 15th, 2012 at 1:56 a.m., a vehicle was stopped in a R.I.D.E program spot check on Edinburgh Road South Guelph, and an approved screening device was used.

James ROSZEL 31 years of Guelph was charged with Drive Over 80, and his vehicle was impounded for seven days. He will appear in court in September.

On Saturday September 15th, 2012 at 11:41 p.m., Guelph Police received a complaint of an erratic driver traveling west on Woodlawn Road West Guelph. The responsible vehicle was located, and the driver was arrested for Impaired Driving.

Meghan WILSON 20 years of Guelph was charged with Impaired Driving, Drive over 80, Obstruct Police, Identity Fraud, Drive under Suspension, Novice Driver-B.A.C. above Zero and Young Driver-B.A.C. above Zero. Her motor vehicle was impounded for seven days, and she was held for a Bail Hearing.

On Sunday September 16th, 2012, at 2:31 a.m., Guelph Police stopped a vehicle driving erratically on MacDonnell Street Guelph, and an approved screening device was used.

Rachel ROBERTS 27 years of Guelph was charged with Drive Over 80, and her motor vehicle impounded for seven days. She will appear in a court in September.

All three motorists had their drivers’ license suspended for 90 days.
