Guelph Police Service Cruiser Involved In Collision

On Monday November 12, 2012 at 5:35 p.m., a Guelph Police Cruiser was involved in a collision with Chevrolet Malibu on York Road Guelph. Investigation revealed that the cruiser was eastbound when it was struck by a Chevrolet that had crossed the centre line of the road as it was westbound on York Road Guelph.

The Chevrolet and police cruiser received extensive damage.

A male police constable attended the hospital and was treated and released with a possible concussion.

The driver and the passenger in the Malibu did not require medical treatment.

The 40-year-old Guelph female driver of the Chevrolet Malibu was issued a part one summons for Careless Driving and will appear in Provincial Offences Court.
