Guelph Police kept busy with collisions

On Wednesday October 16, 2013, members of the Guelph Police were kept busy with a number of collisions throughout the city.
Fortunately there were no serious injuries.
The following collisions were reported;
12:46 p.m. Wyndham and Carden
2:00 p.m. Gordon and Stone
2:00 p.m. Surrey Street
3:31 p.m. Scottsdale Drive
4:00 p.m. Gibbs Crescent
4:16 p.m. Woolwich and Kerr
5:00 p.m. Woodlawn and Woolwich
6:00 p.m. Silvercreek and Paisley
9:16 p.m. Stone Road.

The Scottsdale Drive collision occurred when a 78 year old female drove her vehicle through the front window of the Guelph Public Library.

The Wyndham and Carden collision occurred when a transport truck passing under the VIA Rail bridge was too tall and struck the bridge guards.

Both of these occurrences are still under investigation.
