Guelph Police Daily News Release – October 29, 2015

Break and enter

On October 28, 2015, the Guelph Police went to a Farquar Street apartment to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered through an insecure window and stole cash and electronics.

Collision investigation leads to arrest

On October 29, 2015 at 1:01 a.m., the Guelph Police went to Edinburgh Road and Bristol Street for a reported motor vehicle collision. A single vehicle had struck a hydro pole and rolled over. The lone occupant, the driver, was spoken too and it was determined that he was impaired and he was subsequently arrested. The male then refused to provide a breath sample at the Guelph Police station.

Brent Campbell, 30 years of Guelph has been charged with impaired driving and refuse to provide breath sample. He has also been charged with two counts of drive while under suspension under the Highway Traffic Act. He will appear in court on December 15, 2015.
