Guelph Police Daily News Release – Oct 1, 2015

On September 30, 2015 members of the Guelph Police Service with the assistance of the Toronto Police Service, 13 Division Major Crime Unit executed a Criminal Code search warrant at an Irving Crescent residence in the south end of Guelph.

A subsequent search of the residence resulted in the seizure of a substantial quantity of property believed to be stolen and the arrest of five residents.

Lisa Le (F), 31 years of Guelph has been charged with possession of property over $5,000 obtained by crime. She will appear in court on November 20, 2015.

Dung Phan (F), 58 years of Guelph has been charged with possession of property over $5,000 obtained by crime. She will appear in court on November 20, 2015.

Nuoi Phan (F), 51 years of Guelph has been charged with possession of property over $5,000 obtained by crime. She will appear in court on November 20, 2015.

Ty Le (M), 51 years of Guelph has been charged with possession of property over $5,000 obtained by crime. He will appear in court on November 20, 2015.

Cham Phoung (M), 32 years of Guelph has been charged with possession of property over $5,000 obtained by crime. He will appear in court on November 20, 2015.

Theft arrests

On September 30, 2015 the Guelph Police were involved in an investigation into two Guelph residents committing thefts from stores in the Toronto and Mississauga area and reselling the items here in Guelph. That investigation has led to their arrest and the seizure of over $3,000 worth of stolen property.

A 41-year-old Guelph female has been charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

A 47-year-old Guelph male has been charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
