UPDATE: Indecent Act Investigation Leads to Arrest
In October 2014 Guelph Police initiated an investigation into a series of indecent acts.

On October 27, 2014 an unknown male driver described as white with blond hair, wearing a grey or light blue t-shirt caught the attention of a 19-year-old female pedestrian. The male spoke to the female. The female realized that the male was exposing himself and she fled the area.
On November 5, 2014 an unknown male driver described as white, in his early 20s, average height, medium build, with light brown hair and scruff on his face, stopped two 22-year-old female pedestrians and engaged them in a conversation. They observed that the male was exposing himself and they fled the area.
On November 5, 2014 an unknown male driver described as white, in his 20s, light brown short hair, having no facial hair, and wearing a short sleeve dark t-shirt and blue jeans drove up to a 21-year-old female pedestrian and engaged her in a conversation. The female observed that the male was exposing himself and she left the area.
UPDATE: On August 6, 2015 Guelph Police arrested a 25 year old Milton man and charged him with four counts of indecent acts. He has a September 18, 2015 court date.
Drug Arrest
On August 6, 2015 at 3:30 p.m., Guelph Police officers were patrolling the downtown area when they observed a male in possession of drugs in plain view. John Welch, a 48 year old Guelph male, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. He has a September 18, 2015 court date.
Break and enter
On August 6, 2015, the Guelph Police attended a Callander Drive residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered an open garage sometime overnight and stole a pipe expander.
