Assault-resist arrest
On April 22nd, 2015, at approximately 11:45p.m., Guelph Police attended to a disturbance on Imperial Road North, Guelph. It is alleged that the disturbance started when one male punched another male in the face.
Three people were treated at the Guelph General Hospital for injuries and released.
Kristopher ASHCROFT, 40 years of Cambridge, has been charged with assault, assault cause bodily harm and assault with intent to resist arrest. He is to appear in court on June 2nd, 2015.
Michele Burchell, 49 years of Guelph, has been charged with obstruct peace officer, resist arrest and assault peace officer. She is to appear in court on June 2nd, 2015.
Two vehicle collision
On April 22nd, 2015, at approximately 12:58 p.m., Guelph Police attended to a collision that had occurred at the intersection of Stevenson Street North and Grange Street in the city of Guelph.
Investigation revealed that a 2013 Chrysler was travelling southbound and entered the intersection at the same time as a 2012 Toyota entered the intersection travelling westbound. As a result, the Chrysler struck the Toyota on the passenger’s side.
Both drivers were taken to the Guelph General Hospital with minor injuries.
Both vehicles were demolished.
