On December 29, 2016 police entered into a theft investigation at a residential apartment off of Gordon Street. Police were able to locate stolen property and further located the responsible male in a common bathroom within the building. As a result of this investigation, a 20 year old Guelph male was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property, two counts of break and enter and three counts of breaching his probation order. He was held for a bail hearing.
Police Requesting Assistance in Identifying Driver
On December 29, 2016 at 1:25pm a collision occurred in the parking lot of a commercial property off of Elmira Road North. Three vehicles became involved in a collision where there were no injuries. Witnesses stated that a silver Mazda or Toyota was part of the collision but failed to stop. Anyone that has any information relative to this collision, specifically the identification of the Mazda/Toyota is asked to contact Cst. P. Cook at 519-824-1212 ext. 7413.
