Guelph Police Daily News Release 29Nov2017

Stolen vehicles sighted

On November 26th a white 2016 Dodge Durango was stolen from an address on Maude Lane in Guelph and was then seen driving in the area central area of town at approximately 4pm on November 28th. The Durango has some front end damage and a green ratchet strap around the passenger side exterior mirror. Police checked the area and the vehicle could not be located.

– Just before 7am on November 28th, there was a white two door 2013 Hyundai Genesis stolen when it was left running in a west end driveway. That vehicle was reported driving aggressively in the Ward area just after midnight today and could not be located when police arrived.

Single car collision

At approximately 4:30am on November 28th, a van with three passengers struck a utility pole near the intersection of Speedvale Avenue and Victoria Road. The collision knocked down the utility pole and affected traffic for a number of hours before Hydro staff could repair the damage. The 51 year old man who was driving the van received non-life threatening injuries and was charged with careless driving.
