On April 28, 2016 at 4:45 p.m. the Guelph Police Drug Unit executed a CDSA search warrant at a Summerfield Drive residence. One female was arrested and police seized cash and over $3,000 worth of cocaine, hydromorphone pills and cannabis resin.
A 54-year-old Guelph female has been charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of breach of recognizance. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on April 29, 2016.
Unwanted person call – arrest
On April 28, 2016 at 7:26 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Carden Street building for the report of an unwanted person sleeping in a hallway. Police located the male who verbally identified to police with a name that was determined to be false. The male was arrested and the subsequent search located an extendable baton.
Kimani Phillips, 18 years of Guelph has been charged with weapons dangerous, carry a concealed weapon, obstruct police and breach of recognizance. He will appear in court on May 13, 2016.
