Guelph Police Daily News Release – 22June2016

On June 21, 2016 at 4:16 p.m., the Guelph Police went to the Algoma Drive area for the report of a suspicious vehicle and male. A female youth was delivering newspapers when a vehicle pulled up and motioned for her in a way that she felt was trying to get her to go with him. The female immediately ran to a neighbours. The nearby neighbour observed the male exit his vehicle, take some papers off the girls wagon and leave, last seen heading towards Montana Drive.

Police would like to identify the male to ensure that this incident was innocent in nature.

The male is described as being 30-40 years old, short with black hair. The vehicle is described as a small four door car.

Break and enter

On June 21, 2016 at 5:45 a.m., the Guelph Police went to an Inkerman Street residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) used the garage door opener in the parked vehicle in the driveway to enter the garage sometime overnight. An E-bike is reported stolen.
