Guelph Police Daily News Release – 22Dec2016

-On December 21, 2016, the Guelph Police received the report that a black 2004 Yukon Denali XL, plate# CAHA927, was stolen from a factory parking lot on Independence Place. Parking lot video shows that at approximately 1:00 p.m., a black four door extended cab truck pulls up to the Yukon and then shortly after both vehicles are driven away.

-On December 21, 2016 at 9:40 p.m., the Guelph Police received the report that a white 2002 GMC Sierra 2500, plate# 2027DW, was stolen from the parking lot at Stone Road Mall.

Theft from cars

On December 21, 2016 the Guelph Police received four reports from Guelph residents about thefts from their cars. The locations were Colonial Drive, Vaughn Street, Jeffrey Drive, and Starwood Drive.

This crime is easily avoided by locking your cars, keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle and parked in a well-lit and visible area where possible.
