Guelph Police Daily News Release – 15Jan2016

On January 14, 2016 at 10:26 p.m., the Guelph Police went to Macdonell Street for a reported assault. It is alleged that an intoxicated female had been ejected from the drinking establishment she was at. Once outside, she struck an employee in the face. She was detained and subsequently arrested by police.

Jamie Rorabaeck, 21 years of Newmarket has been charged with assault. She will appear in court on February 26, 2016.

Drive over 80 mg – arrest

On January 14, 2016 at 8:52 p.m., the Guelph Police went to Gordon Street near Stone Road for a reported minor collision. It is alleged that one vehicle struck another from behind and police were called. Police spoke with the female driver that was responsible for the collision and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. She failed this test and was arrested.

Nancy Shoemaker, 63 years of Guelph has been charged with drive over 80 mg. She will appear in court on February 5, 2016.
