On July 12, 2016 the Guelph Police received three reports of damage to vehicles in the south end. A vehicle on Gosling Gardens had its bumper damaged. Police were called to the area at 3:19 a.m. but were unable to locate the responsible person(s). Police later received two more reports where in both incidents, a rock was thrown through the window of a car. These occurred on Porter Drive and Clairfields Drive.

Break and enter
On July 12, 2016 at 6:43 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Wellington Street West business to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered the business compound sometime overnight and stole thousands of dollars’ worth of tools from locked boxes and vehicles.
