(GODERICH, ON) – A 49 year old male from Goderich is facing a “Production of a Controlled Substance†charge following a drug warrant that was executed at a Goderich property. At approximately 12:00 p.m. this afternoon members from the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police Detachment (OPP) and the OPP – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) executed a search warrant at a Huron Road residence.
As a result of the search warrant police seized cannabis marihuana plants. The street value of the controlled substance is estimated at $ 9,000.
49 year old Christopher ADAIR from Goderich has been charged with Production of a Controlled Substance – Schedule II (Cannabis Marihuana) contrary to section 7(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
He has been released from custody with a scheduled court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on November 4, 2013.
