Gregory Malott – 109 in a 50

(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) On Friday July 12th 2013, at approximately 3:10pm, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) Constable Henry Van Dyk was conducting stationary radar on Watson Road South near Arkell Road in Puslinch Township. A 2000 Mercury Cougar was observed travelling Northbound at a high rate of speed. The male driver of the motor vehicle was locked in the radar travelling at 109 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

Gregory Malott age 27 of Guelph is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on the 21st of August 2013 to answer to the charge.
