Grease fire in apartment

On April 14, 2014 at 8:21 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Victoria Road North apartment building to assist the Guelph Fire Department with a reported fire. Police arrived on scene to find that the fire had been extinguished. A grease fire in one of the apartments caused minimal damage to the apartment and caused injuries to a female resident. She was taken to hospital with minor burns to her face, arms, chest and neck areas.
