Type: Found Human Remains
Location: Grand River (behind Fordview Court)
Incident: Brantford Police have released the scene where human remains were found on Monday evening. A scientist from the Centre of Forensics Science worked with detectives at the scene along the river bank today in trying to identify the body. Detectives from the Major Crime Unit are working with neighbouring police agencies going through missing persons reports from the last 18 months. The Coroner’s office is still investigating and an autopsy will be performed on Thursday in Toronto. Police can confirm that foul play has been ruled out.
