(NORTH HURON, ON) Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating a string of thefts that occurred in Blyth. The thefts took place sometime between the late evening hours on August 25, 2013 and the early morning hours on August 26, 2013.
An unlocked pickup truck parked on Dinsley Street was entered and the thieves stole a set of keys for a Pontiac Grand Prix that was parked beside the pickup. The thieves then proceeded to steal a grey 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. The stolen Grand Prix is a 4 door, with a dent on the driver’s side door and it is equipped with a sunroof.
Those responsible then entered a Chevrolet Impala that was parked nearby on Dinsley Street. They proceeded to steal personal cheques, a metallic compact disc case and a key chain with an attached white gold wedding ring.
Nearby on King Street, thieves entered an unlocked shed and stole a green and black Kawasaki 8†mitre saw. The value of the stolen saw is approximately $200.
