Graffiti Tags In Downtown Wiarton

(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – The Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a series of graffiti related occurrences in the Berford Street and Brown Street 500 block’s, in Wiarton, Town of South Bruce Peninsula. The incidents occurred between October 30th, 2014 and November 4th, 2014 between 11:00p.m. and 2:00a.m.

Two male suspects were seen in the locations. They were wearing baseball caps; one had a camouflage shirt the other a red shirt. One property owner had repainted the graffiti area only to have it tagged again a day later. The Bruce Peninsula OPP is requesting assistance in identifying the suspects.

The Bruce Peninsula OPP want to remind the citizens of the Bruce Peninsula that property crime is everyone’s problem. If you see someone damaging property call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or 911 if it is an emergency.
