Graffiti – Arrest Made

After a five-month investigation, the London Police Service has made an arrest in relation to ongoing graffiti within London.

Between August 2014 and December 2014, members of the Community Oriented Response Unit noticed an increase in graffiti in relation to the blog websites.

The locations of the graffiti include a sidewalk, on parking lots, and on the side of buildings, just to name a few.

On Tuesday, January 6, 2015, a search warrant was executed at a Simcoe Street residence, where some of the items seized include:
– Markers
– Paint cans
– Spray paint

As a result of the investigation, Kerry James Linker, (46) of London, has been charged with 14 counts of mischief under $5000, contrary to section 430(4) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

Kerry Linker was released from custody with a court date of February 19, 2015.
