(PERTH COUNTY, ON) – On November 8, 2012 at approximately 10:00 a.m. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Road 119 near Line 39, Township of Perth East.
A pickup truck travelling north had slowed to turn west onto Line 39. Three motor vehicles travelling northbound were following the pickup truck, those being a blue Honda CRV, red Hyundai, and silver Mazda. The female driver of the silver Mazda failed to slow down and collided with the red Hyundai, sending the Hyundai into the southbound ditch. The silver Mazda then collided with the blue Honda CRV.
A female passenger of the red Hyundai, a 64 year old from Stratford, was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the silver Mazda, Grace SHETLER, a 24 year old from St. Mary’s, has been charged with Careless Driving, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
