The Education Quality and Accountability Office(EQAO) recognizes specific schools that are using testing data to improve teaching and student learning. This year Goderich Public School was one of only 14 schools across Ontario honoured by the EQAO. These are schools where trends in student achievement on provincial assessments show that something positive is happening in the school communities. In an earlier News Release, EQAO stated, These schools have been selected from both English- and French-language school boards and are representative of the dedicated school communities that can be found across the province. All are notable for their staff’s use of EQAO data to identify trends and make decisions about where improvements are needed. These schools have adopted action plans based on their unique circumstances
