Gordon Keeso Caught With Stolen ATV – Drive While Suspended etc.

(HURON EAST, ON) – On September 10, 2012 shortly before 1:00 a.m. a Perth County OPP officer observed an all-terrain vehicle driving around the area of Mt. Pleasant Line and Browntown Road. The officer attempted to stop the ATV however the ATV driver failed to stop and entered a farm field. Officers were able to hear the machine travelling through the field and were able to watch the ATV exit a nearby field and eventually stop at a residence on Browntown Road.

Officers were able to locate and identify the operator of the ATV. He was arrested for Fail to Stop for Police. A driver’s licence check revealed the driver was currently suspended. Further checks on the yellow 2005 Bombardier ATV revealed the machine was stolen from Gravenhurst.

Gordon KEESO, 45, from Palmerston is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) Criminal Code, Driving While Under Suspension contrary to section 53(1) Highway Traffic Act and Fail to Stop for Police contrary to section 216 Highway Traffic Act. He has a court date scheduled for October 1, 2012 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
