Good Samaritan Gets Broken Jaw & Missing Teeth For Trying To Break Up Fight

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate an assault on a GRT bus and are asking for the public’s help for additional information in locating witnesses and a male suspect. The assault occurred on January 1, 2015 between 12:30am and 1:30am near the King Street North and University Avenue area. During this time, a group of females got into an argument on the bus.

The victim, a 22 year old Waterloo male, attempted to break up this altercation however was punched in the face by an unknown male. The victim suffered facial injuries and was hospitalized for a broken jaw and lost teeth. The suspect is described as a white male in his early twenties approximately 6 feet tall with short dark hair.
