Good Samaritan Calls In Two Plate Numbers Of Drunk Drivers In Grand Bend Area

(PETROLIA, ON) –On Sunday July 5, 2015, at approximately 2:08 a.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint of two possible impaired drivers traveling in the Grand Bend area.

A concerned member of the public contacted the Lambton OPP to report two suspected impaired drivers in the Grand Bend area. Motor vehicle licence plate numbers were provided to the Lambton OPP and at 2:37 a.m., both vehicles were observed being operated on Main Street, Grand Bend, ON.

Alexander Wade PARR, age 22, of Hamilton, ON and Anthony John FRANCIS, age 21, of Nichol Township, ON were arrested and charged for

Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood

Both accused will appear in the Sarnia Ontario Court of Justice on Monday July 27, 2015.

The OPP rely on the public to report crime and impaired driving is a crime that should be treated no differently. If you suspect that someone is driving or about to drive impaired, call 9-1-1 and report it. If you see that someone is impaired by alcohol or other drugs and intends on driving, strongly discourage them from driving and call 9-1-1 if they insist.
