(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Monday August 16, 2012, shortly before 11 a.m., Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to an incident involving a male caught under a lawn cutting machine that had rolled on top of him at the Science Hill Golf Course north of St.Marys.
Upon police arrival, the golf course employee was still caught under the machine he had been operating. The mower was lifted from the 19 year old St.Marys resident, who was immediately transported by air ambulance to the London Vic Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The Perth County OPP and the Ministry of Labour are continuing their investigation into the cause of this incident.
