Goderich Drug Bust – Timothy RENAUD & Stephanie McLEAN Facing Charges

(GODERICH, ON) – On Friday, April 25, 2014 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit (PWEU), West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), West Region Canine and Huron County OPP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence located on Newgate Street, in the Town of Goderich, Huron County, Ontario.

As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized cannabis marihuana bud, methamphetamine, cocaine, and offence related property that consisted of trafficking paraphernalia and cash. The estimated combined street value of the controlled substances is $1,180. Police also seized suspected stolen property and two replica firearms that are being analyzed as part of the ongoing investigation.

Timothy RENAUD, age 35 years and Stephanie McLEAN, age 21 years, both from Goderich are each charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking (Cannabis Marihuana)
Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine)
Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)

Both are also facing charges of Fail to Comply with a Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code.

RENAUD remains in custody with a court appearance scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on April 29, 2014.

McLEAN has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on June 9, 2014.
