(PETROLIA, ON) – On Tuesday October 6, 2015, the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit initiated an investigation after receiving information of alleged sexual offences involving a person less than 16 years of age.
The Huron County OPP Crime Unit is currently investigating this matter and through the course of the investigation has identified a suspect and has laid charges in relation to these allegations. To date, a total of five victims have been identified in relation to this accused person dating back to 1976. The accused has been involved with various churches in the Huron County area. He has also been employed in teaching martial arts and meditation to children. The accused has been identified as,
Kelly Douglas LAYCOX, 54 years of age, currently of London ON. and has been arrested and charged with:
Sexual Assault
Sexual Interference with a Person Under 16 Years of Age
The accused is presently in custody and will be held for a bail hearing on January 25, 2016 at the Goderich Ontario Court of Justice.
