Barrie Police and the Fire Deptartment responded to the area of Ferndale Rd South and Ardagh Rd in the City of Barrie for a possible gas leak.
Precautionary measures were taken and the south bound lanes of Ferndale Road near Ardagh Rd were closed until 12:10 p.m.
The roadway has now been re-opened and the area cleared by the Barrie Fire Department.
