(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, 0N) On Sunday January 09, 2011, a Perth County OPP officer was dispatched to a residence along Perth Line 86 east of Molesworth where a theft of gas and tools had occurred.
Investigation revealed that between the noon hour and 3:30 p.m. a motor vehicle drove onto the driveway of the residence. The culprit walked to a shed on the property and from inside removed a full gas can, and a number of DeWalt 18volt batteries with a charger and case. In addition, a socket set and drill items were taken from the unlocked garage. Prior to leaving the driveway, the gas can’s contents were emptied into the tank of the suspect’s motor vehicle.
