(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On Sunday September 16, 2012 at approximately 12:30am County of Wellington OPP officers were conducting RIDE spot checks on Highway 6 near College Avenue in the City of Guelph. At this time and location officers investigated the driver of a 2000 Ford Mustang that came upon the checkpoint. Police spoke to the driver and discovered that he had been drinking. The driver was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.
Gary Bolduc aged 30 of Oshawa has been charged with Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on October 15, 2012 to answer to the charge.
