Garrett Collins – Illegal Dumping

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) On March 19, 2013 at about 10:50am the County of Wellington OPP received a report from a Guelph Township employee who witnessed two males dumping garbage on the side of the road of Jones Baseline in Guelph-Eramosa Township.

Police attended the scene and spoke with the two male occupants of a 2001 Ford pick-up truck, who admitted to dumping two couches on the side of the road.

Garrett Collins, age 20 of Guelph has been charged with Abandoning Material that is Likely to Become Litter, contrary to the Environmental Protection Act (EPA).

The county of Wellington OPP would like to remind everyone that garbage dumping or littering of any type is an offence, and is subject to a fine of $125.00.
