(BRANT TWP, ON) – On May 29, 2015 at 8:38 p.m., a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Bruce County Road 3 in Brant Township stopped a Gold Dodge Caravan. The officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol and located a quantity of illegal drugs in the vehicle. The driver, 45-year-old Fredrick GRISTEY of West Grey Township, has been charged with impaired driving, operate over 80 milligrams, produce a controlled substance, traffick a controlled substance, possess a controlled substance and drive with open liquor. He was held in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing scheduled for May 30, 2015.
