Fraud At University Of Waterloo – Kenneth McGillivray Arrested

On November 21, 2016 the Waterloo Regional Police Service arrested a former employee of the University of Waterloo for fraud related offences after it was discovered he had taken a number of personal trips under false pretenses. It is alleged that the frauds took place over a two-year period and involved the submission of expense claims to the University of Waterloo for reimbursements over $12,000. The employee resigned in 2015. Kenneth McGillivray, 63, has been charged with Fraud Over $5,000, Forgery, Uttering Forged Documents and Criminal Breach of Trust. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 22, 2016 in room 106.
