On August 13, 2015, the Brantford Police Service arrested a man who worked historically as a tutor from a business on Charing Cross Street, Brantford. An investigation commenced after a male victim came forward reporting being sexually abused between 1980 and 1981. It is reported that the victim was between the ages of 12 and 13 years at the time of the alleged offence and that the victim had attended the accused home in Brantford for a private tutoring session.

Indecent Assault on a Male
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear in court on August 27, 2015 with an Officer-in-Charge Undertaking.

On July 15, 2015 the Brantford Police Service charged a 75 year old former Brantford area man with sexual offences. An investigation commenced after the victim, a man now in his late 40’s reported being sexually assaulted when he was between 14 and 16 years of age.
It is reported that on an evening between the years 1979 and 1981 the victim was offered a ride home by the accused while he walked alone on Mt Pleasant Street. The victim was familiar with the accused from the area however, had no friendship or family connections at the time of the incident.
The victim was driven by the accused to an unknown Brantford motel and sexually assaulted. Later the same evening the victim was driven back to the area where he originally accepted a ride by the accused.
