Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are seeking witnesses following a serious collision involving five vehicles in the Town of Richmond Hill.
On Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at approximately 6:30 a.m., York Regional Police were called to a serious collision involving multiple vehicles in the area of 16th Avenue and Leslie Street. When officers arrived, they located five vehicles including a pick-up truck. The driver of the pick-up truck was transported to hospital suffering from life-threatening injuries.
16th Avenue east of Leslie Street will remain closed for the next few hours for investigation. Any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police are being asked to please come forward.
