(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Tuesday March 12, 2013, between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) officers were dispatched to 5 separate single motor vehicle collisions to the south and east of Stratford.
Investigation revealed that each of the crashes were due to drivers operating their vehicles too fast for the road and weather conditions. Fortunately none of the five drivers or passengers sustained injuries as a result of these collisions. Major damage was sustained to one of the vehicles as it left the roadway and flipped onto its roof. The other four vehicles ended up with minor damage.
Although Spring is only a week away, drivers are reminded that Winter driving conditions may still be around for a little while. Drive according to highway and weather conditions, which means stay alert
