First Annual Diversity Celebration on June 25

(Ottawa) – In advance of national Multiculturalism Day, the Ottawa Police Diversity and Race Relations Section is hosting the first annual Diversity Celebration and everyone is invited!

Date: Thursday, June 25, 2015

Location: Police Station at 474 Elgin Street

Time: 4:00-6:00pm

Visitors will see displays providing a ‘snapshot’ of more than a dozen different cultures. Entertainment will be provided by the Aboriginal, Jamaican, Sikh, Palestinian, Filipino and Latin American communities and attendees will have the opportunity to sample some traditional foods.

The Ottawa Police Service Recruitment Team will be on site to provide information and answer questions about careers in policing.
