Firearm and Drugs Seized in Search Warrant

Peel – Investigators with the Street Crime Gang Unit have arrested two men and two women after executing three Criminal Code search warrants, and seizing a loaded handgun and a quantity of drugs.

On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, members of the Street Crime Gang Unit executed Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants of a residence on Monaco Court in Brampton, and two vehicles. As a result of the warrants, investigators seized a quantity of drugs, including Fentanyl, Crystal Meth, Cocaine and Marihuana, as well as a loaded 22 calibre semi-automatic handgun.

Mark ARMOGAN, a 31 year-old male from Brampton, has been arrested and charged with the following drugs and weapons related charges: Careless Storage of Firearm, Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Possession of a Loaded or Restricted Firearm, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Marihuana, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Meth, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Meth, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Fentanyl, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marihuana.

Morgan LEE, a 23 year old female from Brampton, has been arrested and chargedwith Careless Storage of Firearm, Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Possession of a Loaded or Restricted Firearm, Obstruct Peace Officer, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marihuana, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Marihuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marihuana.

Courtney HEARN-LAWRIE, a 20 year-old female of no fixed address, has been arrested and charged with Careless Storage of Firearm, Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Possession of a Loaded or Restricted Firearm, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marihuana under 30 grams, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Schedule II under 3 kg.

Jason BARNA, a 41 year old male from Brampton, has been arrested and charged with Careless Storage of Firearm, Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Possession of a Loaded or Restricted Firearm, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marihuana under 30 grams, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Schedule II under 3 kg.

Mark ARMOGAN, Morgan LEE, Courtney HEARN-LAWRIE, and Jason BARNA, each appearedon Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton for Bail Hearings.
