On September 30, 2013 members of the Guns and Drugs Section, consisting of members of the London Police Service and RCMP, executed a Criminal Code search warrant at a Boullee Street residence.
Seized was an Off Duty 38 Special 5 shot revolver and ammunition.
As a result of this investigation, a 16-year-old male is being charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:
Revolver – Possess unloaded regulated firearm, contrary to section 95(1);
Unlicenced person possess prohibited/restricted weapon, contrary to section 91(2);
Store firearm carelessly, contrary to section 86(1); and
Store ammunition carelessly, contrary to section 86(1).
The offender remains in custody for an unrelated matter, therefore a warrant has been prepared for his arrest.
