Fire Near Daycare Facility

(KINCARDINE, ON) – On April 27th, 2012 at 1:29 pm, the South Bruce OPP received a report of a fire at a unit near the YMCA daycare on Queen Street, Kincardine. Officers attended with the Municipality of Kincardine Fire department to find a small fire on an outside deck for the unit above the daycare. The fire was quickly extinguished leaving minor damage to the deck. The children were moved to a safe location nearby as a precaution. There were no injuries reported.
