Fire Extinguished By Sprinkler System

On September 29, 2012 at 12:50am, the Guelph Fire Department received a fire alarm for an apartment building complex located on Woolwich Street. Guelph Fire and Police responded and found a second floor garbage room had been set on fire however the building’s sprinkler system extinguished the fire prior to their arrival. The damage is minimal and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
