Just after 9 p.m. Monday, a passerby saw flames coming out the back of a house in the area of Kingswood Drive, near Homer Watson Boulevard and Block Line Road. Firefighters arrived at the house and extinguished the fire, although a sunroom and its contents were heavily damaged. The fire is believed to have started in a malfunctioning swimming pool vacuum system. Damage is estimated at $60,000.
