On 31 March 2014 at approximately 4:15am emergency responders attended a home on Darren Crescent, Cambridge, in response to a reported residential house fire. Upon arrival police evacuated the residence. The fire, which began in an upstairs bedroom, was extinguished before it could spread to the main home. The home had extensive smoke and water damage. Fire damage was limited to one upstairs bedroom. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The family has made arrangements to stay with relatives.
