On the afternoon of October 1st, 2014, Waterloo Regional Police Service and the Kitchener Fire Department responded to a residential fire on Randerson Avenue in the City of Kitchener. Two male residents escaped unharmed after a pot of oil ignited on a stove top. The fire was isolated to the kitchen portion of the residence and the damage is estimated at $30,000.
