On November 28 th 2016 members of the Owen Sound Police Service Drug Unit located a wanted man who was staying at a local motel. Tyler Geiger was wanted by Hanover and West Grey police services for numerous offences including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, break and enter, and failing to comply with conditions pertaining to a recognizance of bail.
At the time Geiger was arrested he was in possession of methamphetamine and Fentanyl powder. The Owen Sound police Drug Unit executed a search warrant at Geiger’s motel room which resulted in police seizing prescription pills and stolen property.
Geiger has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, two counts of fail to comply with recognizance, Fail to comply with probation, possession of Schedule I substance – Codeine, and possession of property obtained by crime.
