Fentanyl And Methamphetamine Bust In Kitchener

In early January, 2017, Waterloo Regional Police began an investigation into a suspected male drug trafficker in the area. On March 3, 2017, police arrested a man on Bleams Road in Kitchener in connection to the investigation and seized methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl, oxycodone pills and cash. Search warrants were also executed at two separate locations, including an address on Wilton Place in Kitchener and an address on Hickory Street in Waterloo. As a result, additional amounts of suspected fentanyl, cash and a firearm were seized. A 39-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
