On the 24th of January 2015 the Barrie Police Service responded to a call at a East end apartment complex because a male and female were arguing in the front lobby. The male noticed that his actions were being captured on a video surveillance camera so he redirected the camera. Police were called and attended the apartment where they found the female hiding in a closet. Further investigation revealed that the accused was not to be associating the female. The male was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
