On June 20, 2016 at 8:36 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a bicycle/car collision on Elizabeth Street. It is alleged that the 16-year-old female cyclist was unable to stop due to faulty brakes on her bike and she struck the vehicle. There was minimal damage and the cyclist was taken to hospital by GWEMS with minor injuries.
